Unmanned Aerial Systems!
We are an interdisciplinary group of students focused on designing, constructing and programming an autonomous aerial vehicle to compete in the annual AUVSI-SUAS competition.
Despite the 2020-2021 competition's cancellation due to COVID-19, we are still creating opportunities for our own students to strive and apply their in-class knowledge in practical and educational environments. We have expanded our project's scope to include diverse educational and professional opportunities to push our students and the students of Riverside in general to pursue their passions and hone their skills in the field of aerospace.

UCR-UAS Banquet 2020-2021:
Thank You for an Amazing Year!
Our first UCR-UAS Annual Banquet 2020-2021 was held on Zoom, May 22nd from 4-6 PM PDT.
We celebrated our achievements during the past year, announced our future plans, revealed new Leads and Board members, and showed our appreciation to all donors and members.
Featuring Keynote Speaker Russell Perry from Relativity Space and Faculty Speaker Dr. Sundar. Other special guests include Brian Ho and Kevin Yang, founders of UCR-UAS alongside Russell Perry!
We also held a Venmo Raffle + Fundraiser to give out two $25 Amazon gift cards! You are all still welcome to support us using the link below.

Quarterly Workshop Series

This past Spring 2021, UCR-UAS taught students how to use basic to intermediate functions of an Arduino micro-controller to aid in the completion of a virtual or physical project.
